Autumn is a great opportunity to enjoy the change of season, the yellow and ocher colours make their way into the green-tinged forest. This is the first part of a series of photographs taken in the Natural Parks of the Valencian Community

Sierra de Espadán natural park
The Sierra de Espadán is one of the easternmost mountain ranges of the Iberian system, in Spain.

It is located in the province of Castellón, in the Alto Palancia and Plana Baja regions.
The Sierra de Espadán divides the Mijares and Palancia basins.
Much of the mountain range is part of the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park.
The mountain range stands out for the outcrops of the Buntsandstein ridge that allow the existence of Quercus suber and Pinus pinaster forests and siliciculous plants, in an area where the materials that surface in the mountains of the Iberian system are mainly limestone.
